Caught in the Bear Trap
OUCH! Today was a humbling reminder of the rapid fluctuations of the US financial markets. Three days ago I was feeling pretty good about my Bear Stearns option trades, and this morning I am staring down the barrel of the worst trade of my life. This was one of those sick-to-your-stomach-pull-out-your-hair-hate-the-world moments that hopefully only occur once or twice in a lifetime. I know I’ve had my fill, and this wasn’t my first one.
Yes, I took quite a beating today, but I am also conscious of the many, many people who lost it all in this tragedy. I feel for them and wish them well.
